If you want to get advice about your rights or you need help to claim Universal Credit, please go to the benefits page on this website and use the search box on that page. If you need to find out where to get local help to access the internet, look for work, use computers or speak English, please use the search box below:
- choose the type of support you need from the ‘drop down’ options : internet access, jobsearch help, computer classes, English classes
- if you want to look for support across the whole district – do not enter any postcode – just click on search
- if you want to look for support in your area, enter the first half of your postcode (eg BD3) – then click on search.
You will get a list of places that can help you. If there are no results in your local area, please try a different postcode (eg BD1) or do not enter any postcode. When you find somewhere to go for help, please ring in advance to check when they are open and whether there is any charge. If you need access to the internet, you can use a computer in your local library. There are libraries across Bradford District. You can find details of your local library on Bradford Council’s website.
Some of them also help with job search and basic computer skills. The website Learn My Way has free beginners guides to using IT and the internet.
